War Child Canada: How a Caribbean conversation is leading to a better education for Congolese girls
War has many victims and perhaps the most tragic are children. War Child Canada has established a radio education program so girls in the Democratic Republic of Congo can learn at home to avoid the risk of sexual attack on the way to school. The program is supported by DECJUBA Foundation after an unlikely meeting on Richard Branson’s island.

Rather than a live pitch event commonly associated with collective giving, MWF is trialling an exhibition showcase to ease the stress on grantees, after feedback from participants.
A fond farewell: How Raise and Zurich are ending their community partnership well
In collaboration with the Z Zurich Foundation, Zurich Financial Services Australia has been supporting youth mental health charity Raise closely since 2017 to support their substantial phase of growth and capacity building. While the grant funding comes to an end, Raise is now well set to continue its work to support youth across Australia.
Allan Myers AC KC appointed Chair of Minderoo Foundation and changes at Social Ventures Australia and Coopers Foundation
The Minderoo Foundation announced this week that respected Australian barrister and philanthropist Allen Myers AC, KC will replace Chair Dr Andrew Forrest AO and Co-chair Nicola Forrest AO, who will both step aside but continue serving as non-executive directors of the Minderoo Foundation.
