The ecosystem is stronger because of enabling policy settings, capabilities and public confidence.
As the peak national body for philanthropy, an important part of our role involves seeking to influence public policy. We do this as a way to address today’s complex challenges.
We work with government to increase their understanding of the economic, social and cultural significance of Australia’s not-for-profit sector. This also involves enhancing the policy framework for philanthropy and charities, and seeking practical, sustainable policy solutions.
We are also working to strengthen philanthropy’s critical role in Australian society. We do this by leading the way on how philanthropic, not-for-profit, business and government sectors can work together to increase structured giving in Australia.

A Blueprint to Grow Structured Giving
The Blueprint is our plan to achieve our goal of doubling structured giving from $2.5 billion in 2020 to $5 billion by 2030.
