John McLeod, author of The Bequest Report, has been sharing valuable insights across Australia. After kicking off in Sydney and continuing in Brisbane (pictured above), he will conclude the series with a presentation in Melbourne on Monday, 12 November. These events, run in partnership with JBWere, also feature an interactive panel discussion where leaders from the not-for-profit sector share how they’re unlocking new funding opportunities and innovating within their gifts in wills programs.Since Maree Sidey took on the role of CEO at Philanthropy Australia in earlier this year, she has been touring the country and connecting with members across Australia. A big thank you to everyone who joined us!100 Women, a philanthropic giving circle with a gender equity focus, has awarded five grant recipients a total of $211,005 at their Gala Dinner in Perth. The 2024 grant recipients were shortlisted from a competitive field of more than 164 applications from Australian organisations running local, national and global grassroots initiatives that support and empower women and girls. The event gathered supporters to celebrate and give thanks to their collaborators from philanthropy, NGOs, business and Government.
