Julie Reilly OAM, CEO of AIIW, said: “This series underscores how a gender-focused approach to philanthropy can lead to deeper impact and lasting change.
“As a supporting partner of the She Gives campaign, we are proud that this series supports a growing showcase of Australian women donors who prioritise women and girls and gender equality in their giving, alongside philanthropic men and advocates who share this value.
“Through Empowered Giving for a Fairer Future, we’re providing a valuable resource to help philanthropists and organisations consider, explore and implement gender-lens strategies that uplift communities and create fairer opportunities for everyone.”
AIIW said it aims to catalyse a shift in the philanthropic sector towards more gender-inclusive approaches that foster resilience, address disadvantage, and promote equality with the videos.
AIIW said that it has plans under way to capture the wisdom of more philanthropic leaders from around the nation and share them widely in 2025. The series was produced by Ella Mitchell with filmmaker Maggie Eudes.
