WINGS is an international network of more than 200 philanthropy support organisations from 58 countries committed to growing and strengthening philanthropy worldwide. Previous grant-funded events have included Welcomes to Country, citizenship ceremonies, morning teas, mornings of mourning, BBQs, live performances and storytelling with local Indigenous communities.

auDA’s R&D Grant Program is a new initiative that will fund multi-year partnerships for projects that deliver impact through research and development. Up to two grants of between $300,000 and $500,000 per annum for three years are available to Australian university or research organisations registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission (ACNC). Queensland charities have a fresh chance to secure new funding to help support their operations and invest in new projects to support communities throughout the state, with the opening of two Queensland Gives 2025 funding programs on 1 October. Applications for Queensland Gives' two major funding streams – the General Fund-Organisational Capacity Building grants program, and its Regional grants program - will be open until 13 December, with a particular focus on projects helping youth, women and families at risk.
