The annual State of Gender-wise Giving survey is now open and Australians Investing in Women (AIIW) invites Australia’s ‘AFR Top 50’ corporate and philanthropic organisations to take part. The survey aims to captures the philanthropic investment in women and girls and provide a national snapshot of how the nation’s largest givers think about gender equity when making philanthropic investment decisions. This is the only survey of its kind in Australia and it provides an important benchmark.

The NAB Foundation Community Grants program provides funding of up to $25,000 for local projects that help communities withstand and recover from natural disasters.It awards $1.2 million in Community Grants each year across two grant rounds, including $200,000 available in Impact Grants for projects with big potential. These Impact Grants provide a further $25,000 to recipients to maximise the impact they have on their communities. Submissions close at midnight on 30 September 2024 (AEST). |

The Freemasons Foundation Victoria’s Community Grants focus on partnering and investing in local programs and initiatives that have an enduring impact in our community. Eligible organisations are invited to apply for funding between $5,000 and $50,000 for Victoria based programs that align with our funding areas. Applications close at midnight on 30 September 2024. |

Not-for-profit organisations are eligible to apply for up to $15,000 under the National Australia Day Council’s Australia Day 2025 Community Events Grant Program. Previous grant-funded events have included Welcomes to Country, citizenship ceremonies, morning teas, mornings of mourning, BBQs, live performances and storytelling with local Indigenous communities.

Queensland charities have a fresh chance to secure new funding to help support their operations and invest in new projects to support communities throughout the state, with the opening of two Queensland Gives 2025 funding programs on 1 October. Applications for Queensland Gives' two major funding streams – the General Fund-Organisational Capacity Building grants program, and its Regional grants program - will be open until 13 December, with a particular focus on projects helping youth, women and families at risk.
