| From funder collaborations and how to leverage the balance sheet for purpose to climate lens investing, there was something for everyone in the concurrent sessions at the Philanthropy Australia Conference. |

The paperwork, accounting, legal, staff management, tax management and other demands are remorseless. Now add to that the experiences faced by First Nations people, from the harm and hurt of colonisation and impact of the Stolen Generation, ongoing racism and discrimination. This is the landscape that Ngarrimili is changing. This is an article from Inspiring Stories of Giving Vol 2.

The Forktree Project’s goal is to return a degraded 133-acre former pastoral property in South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula back to nature. The Project involves re-establishing tens of thousands of native trees and shrubs on the property to bring back native animals, insects and birds as well as sequestering tens of thousands of tonnes of carbon. This is another in the series of South Australian videos produced for the Philanthropy Australia Conference.

Take part in a short survey to help improve grant practices. Her work aims to provide evidence-based recommendations for reforming funding mechanisms. Grant makers worldwide are invited to complete a brief, anonymous 5-minute survey, open to various organisations, including PAFs, PuAFs, corporate entities, Donor Advised Funds, and individual philanthropists.
