Benefolk’s Expert Bar is a new online service that will enable not-for-profit leaders and their teams to access a broad range of experienced, pre-vetted specialists via its website for 45, 60 or 90-minute online or phone-based consultations. The Expert Bar is also a capacity-building solution for grantmakers and funders, who are looking for ways to support and strengthen their partners. They will be able to buy vouchers for the service to provide to grantees. |

In sad news Marion Webster, a leading voice in Australian philanthropy, has died. Marion co-founded Melbourne Community Foundation (now Australian Communities Foundation) with Hayden Raysmith AM in 1997. She also served as Executive Director of Philanthropy Australia from 1988 to 1990. |

The Wicking Trust has opened a national grant round focussed on ‘Bringing death back into life’ - investing in excess of $6 million over the next three years. The ‘bringing death back into life’ grant round aims to: - Create more open conversations about death and dying - increasing death literacy
- Support older Australians to prepare for and plan for dying and death
- Facilitate more connected and coordinated formal and informal care networks
- Enable better access to information and expertise that connects older people to the support they need, when they need it.
Equity Trustees will host two information sessions on the grant, on 17 September at 11am (AEST) and 19 September at 2pm (AEST) - registration is required here. |

The Community Inclusion grant program distributes funds for projects that encourage social inclusion and social participation for people with disabilities.
Grants will provide opportunities for social inclusion and participation for people with disability in Victoria. These objectives are informed by guiding principle no. 3 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD): Full and effective participation and inclusion in society. (CRPD 2007).
