The ABC Heywire Youth Innovation grants help communities take action on the ideas generated by young Australians who attend the annual Heywire Regional Youth Summit.

Variety Heart Scholarships support school-age children to reach their full potential in the arts and sport. The scholarships are open to young people aged 6 – 18 years and help children who face financial or physical barriers fulfil their dreams. This could include assisting with tuition fees, personal development, coaching, training equipment, travel or accommodation.

VMPACT100 Sydney North gives at least one major grant of $100,000 each year. Non-profits and social enterprises working in the Greater Sydney region are eligible to apply. They invite applications from organisations assisting families, young people and children at risk. This encompasses key areas of need such as domestic and family violence, women’s shelters, refugees and asylum seekers, disability, homelessness, poverty, alcohol and substance abuse, mental health, etc. Applications close on Friday 28 June 2024. |

Thrive Community Grants aim to improve the social and emotional wellbeing of children and young people facing poverty, discrimination or disadvantage by supporting engagement in community life. Smaller, local charities can apply for a one-off Thrive Community Grant of up to $50,000 to assist children and young people to connect with friends, family and the community, participate in activities that build resilience, develop new skills, enrich lives, and create a sense of belonging.
