The RACQ Foundation was established in the wake of the 2011 Brisbane floods and Tropical Cyclone Yasi. Since then, the Foundation has supported communities from the outback to the coast, pledging more than 33,000 volunteering hours to deliver its Community Assistance Projects to assist 52 community groups and 16 family-owned farms or stations affected by severe weather. |

Koda Capital has released online the findings of its first survey of charitable, non-profit and philanthropic investors across Australia in relation to responsible investing and impact investing. Results show that responsible investing is core to how the overwhelming majority of for-purpose investors approach the management of their investment reserves and endowments. |

FRRR has multiple grants open including the Strengthening Rural Communities (SRC) program which gives small remote, rural and regional communities across Australia the opportunity to access funds for a broad range of initiatives that directly and clearly benefit local communities. The ABC Heywire Youth Innovation grants help communities take action on the ideas generated by young Australians who attend the annual Heywire Regional Youth Summit.

This grant round aims to fund initiatives that demonstrate innovative use of technology through education and learning that aim to measurably improve the well-being of the Victorian community and environment. Individuals, educational institutes, government, business, not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises can apply for grants of up to $50,000.

Smaller not-for-profits with an exciting project idea that will benefit WA are invited to submit an application for a catalytic $100,000 grant. The Impact100 collaborative giving model brings together at least 100 givers who pool their individual $1000 donations into transformational grants whose recipients are collectively chosen. Applicant organisations and their projects are reviewed by the more than 200 donors, enabling greater understanding of the issues, the solutions and the solution providers. It also means that more people are engaged in philanthropy and can feel part of making a significant positive difference.
