Since former US President Bill Clinton founded the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) in 2005, more than 9,000 organisations have launched 3,900 ‘Commitments to Action’ through the community’s unique model. At this week’s CGI meeting in New York, Australia-based Adara Group made an extraordinary Commitment to Action, which it hopes will save more than 7,000 lives. Audette Exel AO, Founder and Chair of the Adara Group announced a $16 million (USD10.6 million) commitment to scale its AdaraNewborn health care model across multiple health facilities in Uganda.

FYA is offering grants totalling up to $100,000, open to groups led by young people (under 30) across the country working to create positive systemic change.
These grants aim to support under-resourced youth-led groups and grassroots campaigns with lived experience of injustice, by providing the resources they need to make a positive difference and helping them take care of themselves and their communities. |

$137,000 in grants are on offer to eligible charities, including the new $50,000 Heritage and People’s Choice Grant.
A total of six grants are available and are to be used to support the overall costs of a specific program that has a proven track record of creating impact in one of three focus areas. |

| The Walkley Foundation encourages journalists, podcasters, documentary makers and publishers across Australia to apply for a slice of the Meta Australian News Fund's $5 million. The fund aims to strengthen and sustain public interest journalism and digital innovation in the media sector. |

Women and Leadership Australia are offering partial scholarships for women in community services ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per person, for one of four leadership and workplace skill development programs. These scholarships aim to encourage more women to increase their impact at work, progress their career, and step into leadership roles. |
