In 2021 the Barlow Impact Group made a strategic shift in their philanthropic giving with a decision to focus on larger grants with maximum impact. The keystone of the new approach is a single $1,000,000 grant, labelled the B.I.G. CHANGE grant. Barlow Impact Group looks for organisations that are working through law, policy and advocacy to change the way systems are structured that keep people trapped in disadvantage. The $100,000 B.I.G. Future Grant looks specifically to those leaders who are addressing the urgent issue of
climate change. Expressions of Interest (Round 1) open on Monday 4 September and will remain open for 6 weeks. |
