Community Foundations Australia and Philanthropy Australia have developed together a further 52-page submission to the Productivity Commission about community foundations. This outlines a roadmap to strengthen these vital drivers of place-based change in rural, regional and urban areas. The submission details how the foundations can work together with Government and the Australian people to double giving by 2030 and create impactful, long-term community benefit. |

Charities minister Dr Andrew Leigh held a series of Town Hall talks this week to meet with sector representatives. As part of the government’s goal to double philanthropy by 2030, alongside the Productivity Commission, work has started on a blueprint for strengthening sector capacity and capabilities. The government is conducting a Charity Sector Blueprint survey and invites charities to have their say.
