Last Sunday the South Australian Government competed against Pick a Local, Pick SA! to raise money to support communities affected by the recent River Murray floods. At the close of play, South Australians had contributed $155,000 to primary producers to assist them in their flood recovery. These donations will provide 90 struggling farming families immediate relief to assist them to meet their everyday needs. |

With flooding events dominating the headlines in the last 12 months, it’s hard to believe that Black Summer was only three years ago. But in Clarence Valley, where the fires destroyed 168 homes, even the recent memory of floods hasn’t distracted locals from the important task of preparing for fire. |
