VFFF has launched the Backing the Future grant round, awarding one-off $50,000 grants to 10 individuals who are working to support young people in rural and regional Queensland. Grant recipients will research, develop and/or accelerate an early-stage idea aligned to one or more of VFFF's four focus areas. |

Funding is available to initiatives that promote and/or protect human rights and civil liberties, including but not limited to those that focus on: Protecting marginalised groups from violence, discrimination and/or other human rights abuses, promoting social justice, inclusion and/or civic opportunities for marginalised groups, opposing religious privilege,
the abolition of discriminatory laws. |

The Jack Brockhoff Foundation is seeking applications in two key areas of interest: Addressing Youth Homelessness – with a focus on Young people (aged 8 to 25) at risk of homelessness and Pathways to Employment – with a focus on supporting young people experiencing disadvantage (aged 15 – 25 years) to find suitable pathways to employment. |
