Philanthropy Australia, partnering with JBWere and Tasmanian Community Fund for this event, will share how intergenerational wealth transfers can shape and improve the future of philanthropy and giving in Australia.

Total inheritances in Australia are estimated to total around $150 billion in 2024, and $5.4 trillion over the next 20 years. Of the $150 billion gifted through inheritances this year, only $1.3 billion will be given to charity – The Bequest Report – Reshaping Australia by passing on more than assets – JBWere.

Hear from John McLeod, Senior Research Consultant, JBWere Australia the author of The Bequest Report the first report of its kind, who will outline valuable sector benefits and opportunities for both individuals, families and charities.

An interactive panel session featuring perspectives from local and national NFPs will outline how they are unlocking funds and innovating within their gifts in wills programs.

Audience: The audience includes a breadth of stakeholders in the philanthropic sector and beyond. This event will be an excellent learning opportunity for:
