On behalf of Philanthropy Australia’s New Generation of Giving Network Committee Co-Chairs Martin Green and Bella Wiggs, we are delighted to invite you to our last New Gen Network gathering for 2023. Join us in Toorak for a Summer soiree with drinks and nibbles to celebrate 2023, hosted by Committee member Michelle Lin.

New Gen Network Co-Chairs 

Martin Green | Pantera Press Foundation

Martin is the Co-Chair of the New Gen Network and a member of NEXUS Australia. Martin works at the intersection of social purpose business and social purpose book publishing, publishing books with an impact focus – primarily under the Lost the Plot imprint – and as a director of Pantera Press and the Pantera Press Foundation, with the aim of maximising and promoting social good. He is also a director of Australia’s leading poetry organisation Red Room Poetry, plays in a band and volunteers in music production for at-risk youth at arts charity Heaps Decent.

Bella Wiggs | Wiggs Foundation 

Bella is Co-Chair of Philanthropy Australia’s New Gen Network, Nexus Australia Committee Member and Director of the Wiggs Foundation. She was previously Philanthropy and Engagement Officer at Groundswell Giving, Engagement Strategist at Environmental Leadership Australia, and Strategy and Operations Director at Coalition for Conservation. She has worked at Social Ventures Australia on campaign design, in financial services, including on strategies for carbon risks and offset approaches in portfolio management, and as a consultant with various NFP and NGOs. Bella has served as a Fellow for United Nations Academic Impact at the University of Sydney, and sat on the inaugural Climate Action Committee at Mosman Council. Bella has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney.

Michelle Lin | Vermilion Foundation 

Michelle is a Management Consultant by trade and CEO of her family foundation, Vermilion Foundation, which supports the areas of Diversity and Inclusion, Mental Health and Climate Action. She is very passionate about New Gen philanthropy and shifting capital towards purpose. A champion for diversity from a gender, minority and disability lens, she has many passions including multicultural youth empowerment, increasing representation of women of colour in leadership roles and youth mental health.
