Music and Opera Singers Trust (MOST) has been promoting excellence in the music and opera sectors since 1982.  For 42 years, the organisation has earned a reputation for presenting one of Australia’s most prestigious platforms for emerging Opera artists, the annual Australian (Handa) Singing Competition (ASC).

The ASC and other MOST initiatives play a pivotal role in nurturing and showcasing the prodigious talents of young Australian performers by providing them with opportunities via scholarships and prizes, to gain further development of language, voice and music skills and recognition on both national and international stages. 

Winners and finalists in past competitions have gone on to achieve remarkable successes, and ultimately have made significant contributions to Australian music arts culture.

Our Mission is to nurture and inspire young artists in their creative careers through meaningful pathways into the music industry.
