Friday, 19 Apr 2024
If you like the idea of helping to create leaders for the future, the role of Scholarships Manager at the General Sir John Monash Foundation might be a good fit. The manager oversees the delivery of a prestigious national scholarships program that sends outstanding and multi-talented Australians overseas each year. More than 260 Scholars have benefited from the program.
The manager is part of a team which ensures that selection processes are of the highest quality and that successful Scholars are well supported as they venture overseas to leading institutions.
The annual selection process involves preparation and delivery of online reviews, first-round State and Territory interview panels, and final-round national interview panels. The Foundation also provides pastoral support as Scholars undertake their study and build influential networks, within the John Monash community of Scholars and more broadly.
The scholarships are proudly supported by Australians for Australians. Funding is provided by governments, companies, trusts, foundations and individuals.
What do you need to be the successful candidate? A strong affinity with the Foundation’s mission and values, an understanding of Australia’s higher education sector, an ability to build relationships across a wide spectrum of stakeholders, advanced organisational skills and excellent communication skills.
Applications, including a cover letter and curriculum vitae, should be submitted to: [email protected]. Applications close on Friday 19 April at 5pm.
