.au Domain Administration Limited (auDA) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Australian Internet community. They work with a range of stakeholders including industry, government and the Australian and international community to administer a trusted .au for the benefit of all Australians, numbering more than 20 million users, and champion an open, free, secure and global internet.
The auDA Board is committed to delivering public impact, one way is through supporting innovation by others. Since 2006, the auDA Foundation has distributed community grant contributions of over $4.5 million to support over 170 projects that have enhanced the utility of the internet.
Reporting to the Manager, Public Benefit, this key new role is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of auDA’s Public Benefit programs and procedures. You will oversee responsibilities including the management of the Grant process, Stakeholder Management, the evaluation and impact activities as well as contribution to the broader auDA organisation and strategy.
About you
- 3-5 years’ experience in a senior administration role
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end grant making and administration
- Hands-on experience in using grants management platforms for applications, assessment and monitoring (such as SmartyGrants, GIFTS (Blackbaud), Giving Data or Grants Toolbox)
- IT savvy with good knowledge of Internet uses and apps, and a willingness to understand the Internet’s challenges and opportunities for the public benefit of the Australian community and Australia’s role in the global debate about governance of the Internet
- Tertiary qualifications in law, finance, public policy or social impact or a Master’s in a relevant discipline is desirable
