Leading not-for-profit, the Ballarat Foundation is seeking a Donor Engagement and Development Lead who is passionate and skilled about bringing people together in response to social challenges. Whether it be in response to homelessness, food insecurity, family violence or mental health, our work is vital and collaborative.
This senior position is 0.8-1.0FTE with flexible working arrangements to be negotiated with the right candidate.
To be successful in this position, you will be a confident and engaging people and program leader with excellent communication skills which enable you to confidently express a compelling case for our work.
Your proven track record in engaging partners and supporters to drive growth will complement your ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of people both internally and externally as these will be fundamental to the success of this position and the Ballarat Foundation.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the right person will have the opportunity to implement new strategies as well as build on the strong existing foundations which have driven enormous community impact during the past 40 years.
Do you have what it takes? You will need to demonstrate:
- How you will engage and influence others to support our important work
- How you have previously led or developed successful programs and/or teams
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to engage with a wide range of people from different backgrounds – both internal and external stakeholders
- How you work autonomously yet also collaboratively as part of a team
