Trinity Grammar School has begun the search for our next Director of Development. This role is full-time, with some flexibility for hybrid working arrangements. The office is in Summer Hill, Sydney.

About you
We are seeking a strategic and systematic manager with a strong background in philanthropic development, particularly in cultivating and soliciting major gifts, preferably within an educational environment. Your exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills will enable you to establish credible connections with a diverse range of stakeholders, representing the School as a leader in fundraising excellence.

Enthusiasm and readiness to build on our existing endeavours to building a sustainable scholarship program to create those opportunities for young men who otherwise would not experience the rewards of a holistic Trinity Grammar education brings, is a great step to success in this role.
With a confident approach to identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing funding relationships, you will work closely with the School Council, the Headmaster, Executives, and the broader Trinity Grammar School community. You will provide guidance and collaborate to secure strategic gifts that drive our mission forward. Your leadership in major gifts stewardship will set the standard for excellence, and you will be comfortable both managing your team and working collaboratively with other teams within the School. Whether leading a major campaign or participating in the many activities across the School, your contributions will shape the direction, growth, and development of Trinity Grammar.
Our Development team works closely with colleagues to identify funding and impact opportunities for donors and partners that will help us create the systemic changes that build more opportunities to grow good men. You will work collaboratively with peers across the organisation to create compelling and fundable packages of work, with a solid understanding of the breadth and depth of Trinity’s philanthropy and development program to building future sustainable scholarship opportunities.
You will be equally comfortable for creating and managing budgets and forecasts. Leading your team’s performance reporting with a robust approach to monitoring and evaluating the program and identifying areas for improvement and investment.
Your ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and your contribution to modelling positive workplace culture through your personal conduct and throughout your work will help you flourish in this role.

The salary expectation is between $150-$170K plus 11.5% superannuation, depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful applicant. The School has access to salary packaging and offers generous fee discounts to sons enrolled at the School.

All staff (prior to commencing) are required to hold a valid Working with Children Check, a First Aid certificate and a COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
