Development Manager
Friday, 4 Oct 2024
The River Nile School (RNS) is a registered, independent, specialist senior-secondary school delivering Applied Learning curriculum to young women from humanitarian, refugee backgrounds who have had disrupted schooling or whose needs cannot be met by mainstream school. They are a registered charitable organisation that delivers everything they do with their students for free.
As a growing school filling a unique gap in the education sector, they are striving to build strong foundations to empower young migrant women, to gain the language, life and work skills to integrate and thrive in our community.
Reporting to the Principal, the Development Manager will play a vital role at RNS in planning and executing a strategy for securing external philanthropic funding from a variety of sources including individual donors, corporations and trusts/foundations.
Success in this role will involve ownership of maintaining key relationships and engaging with critical stakeholders to ensure the longevity of philanthropic income for the school while also creating a strong operational framework to support the fundraising strategy.
As the School continues to strengthen its brand and marketing activity, you will play a key role in helping to position the school to its external community, developing communications and other fundraising activity that enhances the School’s brand and its programs.
