Board Director (Voluntary)

We are looking for two dynamic, community-minded individuals to join our Board in volunteer roles, supporting the inner north communities, specifically those within Darebin and Yarra.

We’re a strong community foundation and an incorporated registered charity. We currently have more than $10.2 million in funds under management and have distributed more than $ 5.7 million in grants since our establishment in 2007. We pool contributions and donations from many, to provide strategic, tax-deductible and high-impact ways of giving – while building a long-term asset for the benefit of all. 

We would particularly welcome board director applications from people with experience in the following:

• Investment and financial management to achieve growth objectives and meet prudential requirements.
• Strategy, development and facilitation of new bequests and donations.
• Grant-making integrity and understanding of the environment for best practices in philanthropy.
