Our submission to Treasury in response to the proposed changes to the ACNC Governance Standards in relation to unlawful activities by charities.
Philanthropy Australia lodged a submission to Treasury in response to the proposed changes to the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) Governance Standards in relation to unlawful activities by charities.
Our submission recommends that the proposed changes do not proceed on the grounds that they will increase uncertainty for the ACNC and charities, and are not supported by a solid evidence base.
